Source species

All of our raw material is sourced from local radiata pine plantation forests that are sustainably harvested.

Water content

Thanks to our mechanical drying system (powered by wood chip fuel!), we are able to procure wood chip to any water content specification.

Size specification

Our JENZ chipper can be fitted with a range of screens, allowing us to produce either “chunky” chips to a S50 size specification (most chips will have a 30mm-50mm cross section) or, if required, a smaller size specification.

Ash content

Less bark in the chips means lower particulate emissions and less maintenance. Therefore, we stack our source logs first and lose most of the bark whilst handling the logs.
